What is spirituality in practice by Mohanji?
“What is spirituality in practice?” is one of the key questions for us, for you, for you from us, but, in this article, we will present toughts regarding that topic by one of the greatest spiritual Masters – Mohanji.
“But why by him”, you may ask? Because he is (some)one who had a temporal life, like we all do, before the big tragedy in his life, which caused his spiritual path. Because he is (some)one who is not separated from the human beings entanglements, like family, business, social life. Because he is the Oneness in all of his materiality and spirituality.
We have been blessed to be in his powerful presence at the latest Satsang. The interview with the Master was organized through the selfless help of Devi Mohan, ACT Foundation President – Global, but the answers were received before the interview started. That is something that is not unusual in the presence of Masters:)
And not just that.
As all great minds think, forms are something we should not look through because they are in constant changing. Essence should be the most important to us. We are practising that by letting the Universe show us in which form we should express something that is the essence for us, actually what is our essence.
This time, the Universe chose this form instead of an interview:)
Mohanji’s thoughts related to the question “What is spirituality in practice?”
Mohanji’s main message on this Satsang was: “Stay cool and let the laugh be your only response“! Do you know any better approach to life challenges which we call problems? We don’t! But, as always, if we want to understand simple things, we must understand the big truths which are behind them. (That is one of the reasons why we developed an online course on the topic “Where do we come from“).
In order to truly understand the simple advice “Stay cool and let the laugh be your only response“!, and the true understanding means to apply that in real life situations, we must understand why we have a constant feeling that our, and just our, world, which means inside and outside of us, is jiggling all the time.
As Mohanji said, that jiggling and shaking is not in direct correlation with us, like we usually think. That is something which is happening in the Universe, that is something which is in correlation with the planet, especially with the Saturn, and the happenings in our lives are just a projection of those strong movements in the Universe.
As a specific result of that, said Mohanji, people, especially at your working place can judge and blame you for something that is not your fault. The only way you can survive that is to laugh! Why? Because that is not your personal thing – you didn’t cause it, neither from the universal point of view, nor from the particular point of view. So, every other answer can cause more troubles, and humour is the most sacral way of speech.
And, of course, you should learn from those kinds of situations. You should learn who the people you should stay with are in order to build relationships, and who the people you should let go from your life are.
That’s how, with the Mohanji, we came to the topics about relationships. According to his opinion, we shouldn’t be attached to any kind of relationship. We put so much effort in a relationship, we devote our whole our lives to some of them, and when they disappear we are desperate. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have any relationships. We just need to be detached from them, to be grateful for them, but also aware that we are complete and worthy without them!
Every relationship we are involved in, exists, our great Master said, because we need to learn something from it. So, every person is our soulmate, no matter whether we are speaking about colleagues and bosses in our working places or about our family members. Look at the people around you and you will see who you are!
What kind of person do you want around you? Be that kind of a person and you will gain that kind of soulmates.
Those are the main lessons Mohanji shared with us, and we are so grateful for that!
Let’s just have a quick review what the spirituality in practice is and how we should practice spirituality in our everyday life:
- Lesson 1: Stay cool and laugh!
- Lesson 2: Detach yourself from everyone and everything!
- Lesson 3: Be the kind of a person you want to have around you!
Implement these truths in your everyday life and share your experience with us! We are looking forward to hearing from you!
